 Dr. A.U. George is founder and Senior Pastor of Peaceway Community Church in Dallas, Texas. With the Godly vision to prepare the emerging generation for future ministry,
Dr. George pioneered the church
in January 2005. His doctoral dissertation addressed the current situation of the emerging generation of the Asian Indian Churches in America and proposed Biblical means to equip and empower them for ministry in a post-modern era. In his dissertation, Dr. George portrayed the emerging generation as God’s instruments and insisted on the need for preparing them as leaders for the fulfillment of the Great Commission. Regent University accepted his dissertation in December 2004 and he graduated with Doctor of Ministry in May 2005.
Coming from a Catholic background, Dr. George accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior on July 7, 1984. Since then, he has a burning desire to share the gospel to the unsaved and bring the broken and rejected to Jesus Christ. Along with his secular job, Dr. George ministered for about eleven years on the island of Bahrain in the Arabian Gulf. Dallas became a turning point in his ministry life when he resigned his secular job for full time ministry.
Dr. George is a renowned evangelist and seminar speaker, who have
wide experience in evangelism, missions, church planting, discipleship and pasturing. He has preached and conducted leadership seminars in different parts of the United States, Middle East, Indonesia and India. His current focus is on equipping emerging leaders for an end time ministry. His book, “Rising of another Generation,” will be published soon.
With the mission of empowering emerging leaders globally, Dr. George founded the Peaceway Global Mission and gives leadership as its president. He is also an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, member of the Society for Pentecostal Studies, director board member of Rising Global Leadership, and provides leadership supports to a number of Christian organizations.
Dr. George holds Diploma in Practical Theology, B.A. in Economics, M.A. in Economics, M.S. in Theology and D.Min. in Leadership and Renewal.
A.U. and Christy have been married since 1988. They have two children: Jerry and Jamey.
